AboutMe
I'm a New York-based editor and writer with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. As a senior writer at Us Weekly magazine, I've worked under tight deadlines to produce hundreds of cover stories, features and celebrity profiles. I have also contributed to publications such as Glamour and Metrosource.
Over the course of my career, I've interviewed high-profile stars including Oprah Winfrey, Julie Andrews, Ron Howard, Susan Sarandon, Courteney Cox, Tony Goldwyn, Michelle Dockery, Leah Remini, Matt LeBlanc, and just about every cast member of The Real Housewives.
In 2013, Vanity Fair's James Wolcott awarded me a "Kimmie" (as in Kim Kardashian) for "excellence in checkout-line journalism" for a series of Us Weekly cover stories I wrote about The Bachelor.
Slate.com also lauded a 2015 a feature I wrote about Caitlyn Jenner's transition: "Us Weeky's cover story, written by senior writer Eric Andersson, handles all this with remarkably empathetic aplomb... It treats him with dignity. It starts by normalizing the issue by setting Jenner's preparations to go public in the context of his family's frankness about a wide variety of personal issues."
I am also a member of the Television Critics Association and the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association.
Media outlets such as ABC News, TV One, the New York Post and New York radio station 106.1 WBLI have interviewed me for my take on a variety of pop culture topics.
